I'm looking to build a standard basic kit for virtual students to use as
we move through classroom lessons. It can't break the bank, doesn't need
tons of flash parts, and I need to build out *tons* of them so I'm hoping
it won't be too fiddley.
What would you put in your basic kit?
Covering topics like math, social studies (think bridges, pyramids, aeroplanes,
etc), and art.
Look Up FIRST Robotics. I used to teach remote LEGO summer camps for Arizona
State University and we used some of the old FLL Explore kits. They come with
base plates, mini figs, and a variety of parts including technic that is perfect
for what you are describing. I also used to teach K-8 robotics at a school and
we bought a class pack (18 kits) and used them for three years in a variety of
lessons and activities.
