Was at the Lego store in Billund today, and bought myself a copy of the Ghost
2, not realizing it was signed before I got to the counter and they pointed it
out to me
As the topic says, I am not sure if this set has some extra value, due to it
being signed by the designer? Still in sealed box, box in perfect condition,
or I might as well just build it myself.

If yes. what would that be?
Thanks.
It is really hard to estimate what value a signature can add to something.

I collect autographs and I also collect Lego so to me something like this is
very interesting.
For a Lego collector having the auto on a box could actually diminish the value
as it is no longer mint.
An auto collector may have zero interest in the Lego so the value of the bricks
does not matter.
As for a price, I would guess you could get what someone is willing to pay.

Also, if they provided you with a COA this could boost the value.
Does it say anything on your receipt about it being signed?

There was no COA with the sets, as you would see with the big promotional tours
they do sometimes. It was just a some of the designers that signed the sets that
was on display in the store, as part of Insiders day.
