I can't find them in the catalog, but I keep coming across them in my random
bins of Legos I get. They measure about 1cm in diameter and I have 2 in Bright
Light Orange and 1 in Bright Green. Anything?

Sounds like possibly Zamor spheres to me

Yes, they appear in lots of other themes outside of Bionicle, and in numerous
colours.

1cm is too small for a Zamore sphere.

If they have an axle hole on one side, they could be a Technic part, a pivot/hinge
of sorts.
