I retract my statement about them being “really old” 👀
The struts / supports inside, replacing thickers wall, appeared in the late 1980s.
Before that there was cross support (between the tube and the walls) and before
that no support at all and those with slotted tubes and even before no tubes
and in the beginning slotted bricks (slots on the sides, to slip windows and
doors).
And quite a few variants in between every step, with various logos and other
details.

The logos on the bottom ones are old, like 1960s
Op does the plastic look off color? like a different plastic was used?

Yea. The plastic and odd color is why k thought they were fake. The red is VERY
bright, and they look like flego plastic

Yeah, probably old samsonite bricks, but they are def at least 50 years old

Never use really and old in the same sentence. Makes me nervous.
