| Is there any customs due on purchases from Germany? My understanding is no up
to a threshold but I want to be sure. I'm looking at a possible order of
$350ish and am willing to skip on some stuff if I'm above the threshold.

Hi,
The threshold is kind of a mystery. I’ve read about different values: $800,
$1600, or “no! never!”
Maybe you can understand what’s said here: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/international-visitors/kbyg/customs-duty-info

Forgot to say: it’s about “travel” but some bits seem to apply to shipped goods.
I never found an official explanation for shipped goods. (Though the subject
is just a curiosity for me,— I’m not in the US and I’m not a seller—, so I never
search very long.)

My understanding is that there aren't any US customs fees on toys (unless
perhaps they're coming from NK or Cuba) but if you order enough you might
get hit with dock fees. I very much doubt anyone on BL is ordering that much.
In any case $350 is well under whatever threshold there is.

Ok thank you for the feedback. I messaged the store but they haven't responded
because they are larger. I guess I will go ahead and take a chance.
