| Hi,
I don't find an (easy) way to compare 2 different part lists and/or part
files. I want to change an existing model and want to import only the changed/added
parts to a new wanted list, while not altered elements will be ignored. Bricklink
Studio seems to not have such an (important) option. Or alternatively, simply
compare 2 different wanted lists and create a new one with the differences.
I'm new to Bricklink so I don't have much experience with that yet. How
you compare parts lists and Studio models for differences?

Hi,
Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to do that either on BrickLink or in Studio.
You’ll need to use third-party tools like Rebrickable (website) or BrickStore
(application).

| Thanks for the answer.
I heard from that function in Rebrickable and I tried to get something out of
it, but I guess you have to be registered there to use it. Otherwise, the compare
function don't seem to work, at least not with custom part lists. ( https://rebrickable.com/sets/compare/slow/)
I know there is a way to compare .csv files in Exel sheets but I'm not familiar
with this and of course it should generate an new and usable part list with all
the altered parts in relation to the original model. So it can be used in Bricklink.
Hmm... sounds like a job for my buddy, he is fit in coding. Maybe he can write
a tool for comparing .csv or .xml part lists. ^^"

Try BrickStore first.

| Nah, if you already have two CSV, it's like a plain .txt
So just use that https://www.diffchecker.com/

CSV seems to be comparable since it's more or less an Excel spreadsheet.
However, Bricklink seems to only accept copied .xml code and not an exported
.csv from Studio. I also have no idea how the differences in between 2 lists
can be brought back into an clean and usable sheet for Bricklink. But I will
try. thx. ^^
