Hey fellow Bricklink sellers & buyers.

I recently parted out Set 60354-1 Mars Spacecraft Exploration Missions.

But instead of the three Minifigs which are included the Inventory just shows
one and the other 2 breaked in parts.

I cant find the other 2 Minifigs because they did not appear in any other set.

What should i do now?

P.S.: Same with 60353-1 Wild Animal Rescue Missions

1 Minifig in inventory when in real there are 3!

Hi,

For each of these sets, only one minifig is shown in the “instructions” (missions)
of the set.  There’s no instructions on how to use the other minifigure parts.

It’s explained in the note at the end of the inventories: “The digital instructions
for this set only show one complete minifigure being constructed. The other minifigure
parts are included with the set for creative play.”

Thanks. Is there anyway to add them like they are shown on the boxes without
going trough the whole Inventory adding process?

Greetings

You may list them as custom lots in your shop.

And, I wouldn't try to add them to the catalog. They were omitted for the
reason stated in the Notes for that inventory.

Thanks,

I completely understand the rationale for it, but still curious (as I'm not
aware of any prior discussion, so forgive me if this was already argued ad nauseum)...

The official listing for the set by LEGO indicates 3 minifigures + a robo-dog
build, and all of the official pictures for the set have the same configuration
for the additional 2 minifigures. Even their knolling picture excludes these
additional minifigure parts and aren't considered regular building parts
for the set. Wouldn't this be enough to normally still argue that it's
considered an official figure, since the set is specifically supposed to be "instruction-free"?

The set has instructions via the digital play app. The minifig parts are presented
as a play scenario where you can mix and match which parts you choose to build
with. There are other sets with similar undefined minfigs, most famously:

Set No: 76399 Name: Hogwarts Magical Trunk
*
76399-1 (Inv) Hogwarts Magical Trunk
599 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 2022
Sets: Harry Potter

So, officially, the instructions show that there is no defined build for these
minifigs. The box art is just one scenario. LEGO's box and marketing materials
frequently don't match and don't match a set's instructions, so we
don't use them as source if possible.

Hope that helps explain a bit!

~Jen

I thought the whole idea behind these sets was that there aren't any instructions?

The instructions are built into the play via the app.
