For being a 45 year old castle, I'd say only missing the red visor and a
single lance isn't too shabby at all. And the fact that the set is in amazing
condition makes me feel very fortunate and happy on my soul.

Now, even though I'm most likely never ever selling it, I'm curious as
to the value in this condition. It has become part of the family now. Haha.

Set No: 375  Name: Castle
*
375-2 (Inv) Castle
706 Parts, 14 Minifigures, 1978
Sets: Castle: Classic Castle

You can see the listed prices of other sets with this link. In your condition
I would value somewhere around the top price listed.

Great job in keeping this in such excellent condition!

Hi,

A couple errors:

1. The horses’ “top of the front legs” should be a

Part No: 3660 Name: Slope, Inverted 45 2 x 2 with Flat Bottom Pin
*
3660 Slope, Inverted 45 2 x 2 with Flat Bottom Pin
Parts: Slope, Inverted {Black}
not a 1x2 brick.
(That is: 2 1x2 bricks + an inverted slope on top, not 3 1x2 bricks.)

2. The “banner” on the gate tower should be centred on the tower.  The sticker
should be on the left of the 1x8 brick.

Apparently, there’s a 1x6 brick with the same sticker (I don’t know where it
goes, I don’t remember, it’s not on the instructions, and I don’t have the box
anymore), and you seem to have used it instead of the 1x8.
If you don’t have the 1x8, you can still recenter the 1x6

Great!

But what happened there (see pic), are we already under attack?!

Also, you seem to have put the side towers the wrong way: the arched windows
(2-stud wide) should look inside the castle and the meurtrières (1-stud
wide) should be on the outside.

———
¹ Apparently, it’s “loophole” in English.  That’s a ridiculous name.

But then, there’s the stickers there… so it seems it’s the original builder who
made the mistake.
