The pin with black background is already catalogued, but I also have red, orange,
yellow, white, green, blue and no-color (all metal) - so a total of 8 different
colors.
I can't seem to find a place to add new colors to an existing part. So hope
this is the right place to raise this issue?

And actually the same issue goes for pin005 and pin006. I also have them in 8
different colors - the same 8 colors as above

Hello,
I have come across a collection of pins similar to the pin007, but in several
different colors.

I think that I have recently seen a warning for fake pins like that...
If so, then they were not made by LEGO.

I have not found it yet... I'll try to remember to search again later.

The amount of fakes on Catawiki is really worrying.
Yes. I stopped buying there a few years ago.
Fakes are everywhere, you have to be so careful these days. I went to a car boot
sale earlier today, one guy had an old wooden box with the old LEGO logo on,
half full of 60s LEGO. There was a tag on it saying rare vintage lego box and
contents. When he opened his van, there were at least another six wooden boxes
of various shapes and sizes in there, no doubt all rare LEGO boxes ready to bring
out as the others are sold.

This is where our catalog really shines. A lot of work goes into making it ever
more complete and reliable.
I feel sorry for the person who found and probably bought these pins, but I do
appreciate the message on this forum. Next time, it will be something that LEGO
made and we can add some unique part of LEGO history to the catalog.
