Step 1: uninstall BrickStock (the one that is littered with bugs & half finished
features)
Step 2: install BrickStore (the one that is now being actively supported and
developed)
Step 3: never look back
Anyway, in relation to your actual question, I'm fairly certain it is possible
with some tinkering. From memory I think it probably involves changing headers
to match BrickStore format and exporting to CSV. Can't be certain but I think
I did it this way once (maybe).

Uh no, BrickStore doesn't import any CSV.
It could be exported as XML from Excel, but it's not trivial.
