| Hello I think something might be off with the shipping rates shown when a
seller uses automatic checkout in my store, but I can’t see what it looks like
from a seller’s perspective without creating a new BL account. Is there another
way?
Also, I noticed some items are automatically “volume bound” while others are
“weight bound”; does this cause problems with checkout?

First off, you are the seller. People shopping in your store are buyers. It's
very common to switch these two words apparently.
Second, you are kinda allowed to make a second account if it is only used for
testing and never buying. The rule that you can't is still in place, but
it's not generally enforced for just this purpose. Take your chances...
Third, volume means the system is looking at how big a part is. Weight means
it doesn't care how big a part is. If you put any limits on the size of the
order in your shipping methods, then, yes, it could cause items to be excluded
at checkout.
Since you probably don't ship baseplates the same as minifigs, then you want
to spend some time learning about these settings and getting them correctly set
up.
In your Store Inventory, you can check to see what items are not currently eligible
for your Instant Checkout by searching for Instant Checkout Unavailable. (Small
checkbox on the bottom of the right-hand side search options.
Good luck,
~Jen

IINM, that non-written tolerance was rescinded when BL was hunting down doublet
accounts used for “nefarious” purposes.
Better ask Help Desk first. They should answer quickly now.
Ditto.

Thank you for all this info. The Instant Checkout Unavailable checkbox is super
helpful to know about. To clarify, I don't get the definitions of "buyer"
and "seller" mixed up, but I do have dyslexia so I sometimes will focus
so much on structure and seemingly small details that I screw up the easy parts.
I'm not saying that to make you feel bad, I just want to let it be known
that I'm around 40% less dimwitted than some of my mistakes might lead someone
to believe
