Why do you keep up with this false marketing? When you always have the same %
off, it is not a sale, it is just your regular price. And it is definitively
not a 24 hour sale.

This has been pointed out to you repeatedly...
shop is now closed due helge so i can not make advertise becasuse someone doesnt
like that ?
No, your shop is not closed. It is not about what anyone like, it is about honesty
and what is legal. If you claim that you have a 24 hour sale, and the prices
are the same as you always have, you are not having a sale. You are lying to
trick people to buy from you. You are doing false marketing. That is illegal
buy European sales laws. Larger stores who do as you do, would get fined for
doing that.
Id you are angry at me for pointing out that you are breaking the law, I can
live fine with that. Alternatively you could stop doing false marketing, but
I guess that is not an option for you.

that's a pity for you if I want to sell lego with a 20% discount 365 days
a year then that is allowed then I just put 1 month sale 20% discount on parts
and change that every month on the first of the month then that is allowed just
that
You can set whatever price you want, I do not care at all. You can set them 100%
off if you like.
What is not legal is to call it a sale if you have 20% off all the year (or even
just most of the year). Then it is not a sale, is is your standard prices. And
it is definitively not a 24 hour sale. That is just plain lying. It is not a
discount if you are never selling at full price.
But this has been explained to you so many times now, so I expect that you will
continue to ignore all advice and continue with you dishonesty.
I just do not understand who you think you are fooling. Very few of the potential
buyers read the forums anyway, and those who do read the forums regularly, has
seen your 24 hour "sale" multiple times already, and stay far away from
your store. Why not just change to a normal, honest business model instead? Look
at the largest sellers on BrickLink; do any of those daily post fake sales announcements
in the forum?

No, that’s illegal in EU.
To be able to put an item on sale, the item must have been in your store for
the base price the month (30 days) before. The base price is the lowest price
that was effective during these 30 days.
Example:
If you propose an item at €1.00 for 30 days, then you can have it on sale for
20% at €0.8 on day 31.
If, in the last 30 days, the item was at €0.90, even for a single day, then your
sale isn’t 20%, it’s 11.11% (0.8/0.9*100%).
And, of course, if the product was always at €0.8, then selling it again at €0.8
is not a sale at all!

Yes, but you know, it's ex-wolfpackbricks, or maybe the same - so legal things...

Thanks Sylvain for the EU article.
I found one in Dutch. In the past a company already got fined.
There’s an article because it’s a big company… but there’s lots of companies
that get warnings and fines
But recent they made law more strict.
Yes, they clarified the rule for the 30 days: now (as in my example ) the
base price is the lowest price during this period.
Before, it wasn’t clear that rising the price for 5 min to make the percentage
look bigger was a deception (duh!).
(I think it was at the country level that the laws were unclear, because, apparently,
the EU directive hasn’t been changed since 2019.)
But, anyway, that store is way out of line and, unfortunately, their only reaction
is always to play victim and fake-close their shop for 2min.

Not only all of that. Seller has 138 feedbacks with 8 negative and 2 neutrals.
No way I would buy from that person even if there was a 90% off. Unfortunately
99% of members do not read the forum and he just continue doing what he is doing
until Bricklink stops him or her.

John P
then you will be thanked very much sir for your opinion and yes I only have 138
feedback that's because people like you do take care of it and the negative
feedback I have I'm working on but you people don't care and because
of that negative you don't sell feedback and you don't get the chance
to get rid of that negative feedback, so no money comes in to buy new lego and
so you maintain shops with negative feedback and the round starts again from
the beginning with the hope of some people that such shops will close their doors
themselves and the problem will solve itself
Have you ever read a comment about your store that you cannot give an excuse
for?
John P
no, do you have that and what should I look for an excuse for, all I want is
just to sell lego at my prices, it can't be wrong and yes I sell lego with
a 20% discount, is that forbidden?
The problem is, while BrickLink doesn't enforce this (AFAIK), YES it's
not legal in your Country; you had various replies about this, like:
so please explain to me what else I can do to sell even more
1) Do not wish to sell even more. It may happen or not. It's a lot of silent
work. You just can't WANT something and expect it happens. I mean, you know
this is you're over 20, don't you, aren't you?
2) One of the keys is be sure every sell makes everyone happy, you included,
but not only. So: take care of the buyers. Reply to all feedbacks, try to fix
the problems. Understand, change your procedures.
3) Learn from what people say in Forum.
As in general - apart SylvainLS of course - they try to reasonably help
you.
