Just got a new batch with Instant Checkout payment and the order was not moved
to the top of the list.

Two days ago I had a new batch added to another order and that one the Order
Date was updated and the order moved to the top of the list.

Anyone noticed this?

  It updates if the buyer adds and does not pay yet.

It doesn't update if the buyer pays and adds to the order at the same time.

It is annoying.

Seems a fix was implemented for this on June 29th:

[Orders Received] Fixed Order Date not being updated after new batches are added
