I can't find anything that confirms that this is genuine Lego.
Can anyone confirm or direct me where to look for positive or negative confirms

Given the age (it hasn't been produced for 20 years), it is less likely to
be a fake part as most of the fake sets copy relatively modern sets. I don't
thin I have ever seen fakes of those older sets this was in but have seen plenty
of fakes of the more modern HP sets.

I checked mine, this one does have the Lego logo in the corner studs (not in
the center one). The undersides of those studs say "30", "614",
"C)", and "2.01".
Funny, I've never noticed a part nr. being split up like that.
I have two with 30 below 1 stud, 614 below another, 1.01 below a third and copyright
c below the fourth.
1 has 1.02 below one stud, copyright c below another and two studs are blank.
1 has 2.02 below one stud, copyright c below another and two studs are blank.
