Hello, as a seller, I would like to ask if a customer wants to buy something
from you and only gives you a part list csv, or XML file, how will you deal with
it?
Have any of you deal with a situation like this before? My problem is, I want
to compare some parts of the csv list from my inventory first, then i creat an
order myself offline, I can't find a suitable and simple way. Usually I
import it to the wanted list, but I can't directly subtract the quantity
from my inventory through the wanted list, and finally I have to manually reduce
the quantity of the inventory.
I find it very inconvenient and a waste of time and energy. If you have any
tips, please share! Looking forward to your answer! Thanks

I would honestly not let them do that. If they want the parts they can put into
a wanted list, then buy through there, unless it is someone you know, or especially
high value parts. Not to sound mean, but I have enough work on my hands already
and am sure you do too.

The buyer has to order through the store.
Well, sure - if there's an easy way to pick the parts (maybe BrickStore can
help here? Don't know, I've never used it - but you definitely don't
want to be in a position of having to edit your inventory manually for something
like this), then you can create a custom lot and reserve it to the buyer.

Pfff! When I thought you were good people, but soooo disappointed now
That doesn’t answer the question if BrickStore can do it….
AFAICT, XML = okay, but CSV = no-no. Only Rebrickable can take CSVs and I think
(haven’t checked more than that) it’s only possible if it contains Rebrickable
IDs.
If they already have an XML file they can use the "Upload BrickLink XML format"
tab.
Then they can come to your store and add items to their cart by clicking "Wanted
List" under the Shop tab. If they don't want to add quanitities manually
they can use the Auto-Fill option on the right.

Thank you everyone for your replies and your enthusiastic help! I won't reply
to everyone here one by one, but thank you all very much!
The thing is because my friend wanted to do a project on rebrickable. Then he
needs to get parts from me, and I don't want to charge him extra fees, so
I won't let him buy parts by placing an order.(or is there a way for no charge
but creat a order with remark on it?) But the parts are going to be pulled from
my inventory.
To sort out what parts I have and don't have,
and a list of remarks to use when picking up parts,
and finally adjust my inventory minus the amount I took away.
All of the above questions bother me so much that I ask you for help!

You can add a manual invoice shipping method and add a discount before send the
invoice.
