| Dear all,
according to the catalogue information, this Wheel Wagon Small (27mm D.) is only
known in the colors Black and (old) Brown.
Now some stores do offer this wheel also in Reddish Brown. I have made few attempts
to buy this part in Reddish Brown in the past, but each time I learned the hard
way that what was supposed to be Reddish Brown turned out to be (old) Brown.
My question would therefore be if there is real evidence that this part exists
in Reddish Brown and if this turns out to be true I would appreciate offers for
this part in Reddish Brown.
Best regards, Thomas

Parts do come in different colours, that may not exist in the catalogue, but
do exist in real life. I have a few myself. They may have come from displays
etc.
The only way you can be (almost) sure is to ask sellers to send a photo of the
said object next to something that definitely is old brown and definitely reddish
brown. If they are unable or unwilling to do this, then don't buy from them.
There are allegedly a few out there. Good luck.

At least this one is close in time (part ended 2002, colour started 2003). There
are some vintage parts listed in colours that didn't appear until years later
and vice versa.
But of course there is also the issue that some sellers might have the correct
colour but not got the correct wheel / part number. I once ordered 56mm wagon
wheels and got 43mm.
The naming doesn't really help here, 27mm are small and 33mm are large. Yet
these 'large' ones are tiny compared to the 43mm and 56mm wheels.

There is no element number (BrickLink Part Color Code) that exists for this part
in reddish brown, so it is highly unlikely that it was ever made in reddish brown.
However, there are plenty of other colors that were made, though.
