Most interesting part already is I can’t find one thing regarding fakes.
Not one topic or comment
Not one section whatsoever

If it’s there,it’s not obvious!

So today three fakes turned up.Seller hasn’t responded as yet but he may well
not even know,I’m trying to stay composed but I’m annoyed for sure.
Loose arm,one seems to have teeth🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️,the other two don’t.One has faded
red part on torso print, other two have a more vibrant colour. All three heads
have an open hole underneath with a triangular pattern, every other figure I already
own and checked don’t have this.

So….. who else has been faked and what’s Bricklink or Lego doing about it?

As for Chinese sellers,AVOID!

Ps i would post photos but as usual there’s an issue with that

Based on the photo you send, you have purchased the SW0296 minifigure?
- The blocked open stud is correct for that figure.
- is there a lego logo on the neck of the torso?
- is there a lego logo on the top of the hips, between the 'studs'?
- are figures sold as new or used? Used could explain the loose arm and/or faded
print.

Not sure what you mean by 'teeth'

More photos would be helpfull.

I suspect they mean bite/tooth marks which would mean poor used condition/scrap.

They’d be unacceptable to me unless they had a description stating tooth marks
and I’d bought anyway.

Very common (and authentic) in older minifigures (the oldest will have solid-stud
heads).

Provide more photos showing the neck, and of the dismantled figures. They appear
to be genuine.

Making accusations of fakes is serious, especially if you go on to name the seller
through feedback, so make sure you know what you are talking about first.

In the +10 years I've been here there have been quite a lot of posts about
fakes and mostly is the accuser that's in error

Most common complaint is : NO LEGO LOGO or WRONG HEAD

There are a ton of LEGO parts that have no logo and severel types of heads are
common for a lot of minifigs

In fact, I find these two complaints so common it should be written in bold letters
on BL's frontpage

There certainly are fake/non-LEGO parts being sold on BL, the elephant in the
room (which I never see mentioned) being Technic parts

There are a number of chinese mfgs producing high quality "Technic" parts/sets
(and these seem to be somewhat accepted by the Technic community) and very few
of these parts have any markings at all

They're bound to turn up here ...

Not certain about the 2L pins but the newest 3L pins have a logo at one end.
I was very surprised to discover this a month or so ago (I just never bothered
to look since I hadn't acquired any used ones).

You searched here for Fake, Fakes, Clone, Off-brand, LEGO logo, and found nothing?

Community-- Forum-- Search-- Keyword.

The 'open hole underneath with a triangular pattern' was only in use
for 20 years or so. But since you don't have one, well.

So….. who else has been faked and what’s Bricklink or Lego doing about it?

Sadly, it's up to members of the community to slowly and patiently explain
to people to scream Fake without doing any research that they are making assumptions
that are not true.

It's very complicated to post images here if you don't read the two rules:

Besides the condition that most likely is an issue and needs to be taken care
of there is this thing:
You need to educate yourself in buying, selling and collecting Lego.
Not all Lego is marked, sometimes not because of age, size (like older lightsaber
blades 4L), shape of parts etc.
Of course the ‘triangle head’ can’t have a mark but this triangle is used for
many years, it is that common that I am a bit surprised you never came across
one before. Fakes that I know always have a closed stud but without Lego marking
on them.
Older small parts might not have LEGO on them due to the fact a tiny LEGO mark
like on a bar 4L is something that is only possible for a relatively short time.
Putting a tiny LEGO mark inside a mould is an expensive and difficult thing to
do, I guess it is done by a laser or some sophisticated process, something they
couldn’t do years and years ago.

Being disappointed in the condition is very justified, since it seems like the
defects weren't described. The seller should do something about that.
But telling people to avoid all chinese sellers because of your lack of knowledge
is not.

I own several minifgures with the head having the exact same stud you show in
this image. They are genuine LEGO parts, and I know this because I pulled them
out myself from a sealed LEGO set!

You should think twice before posting, but don't go "think think click
click".

Cheers ...
