Stumbled across a guy experimenting with a 3D printer.

He had produced a number of pieces and had tried to make a 3D 3001old style brick
with key ring attachment.

Found it interesting so I thought I’d show the result, others may have done better.

Yes, it's very easy; it only takes you 2 hours (and 2 KW of power) to get
a very bad condition 3001 Brick, it's worth it

I must admit, I can’t see the sense in making them either.

He’s made much larger items, non Lego type items, that have taken most of the
day, fun no doubt but not financially viable.

If you want to see someone using a 3d printer to make Lego parts then you need
to look up Mantis Hacks on you tube, he has been 3d printing lego for a while
now, and no he won't be selling them on here and it's all for fun.
