I'm getting 1 for every 22 visits. It seems to be getting better as my inventory
grows which makes a lot of sense.
I appear to be around 1/35. I think it’s mostly driven by what type of stuff
you sell. I’ve had a lot of commonly viewed, but less frequently purchased sets
listed in the recent past like numerous 375 castles, green grocer, grand carousel,
etc. I think they result in lookie-loos.

1:20.59
Have never looked at those values in this way before. Interesting... But I
think one can place an order without releasing any visit at all. At least with
todays Bricklink System.

1:16
but if I substract my own visits to the store, the real ratio is better
Great thread I always thought i was on the low end of orders:visits, but am
at 1:18 which seems not too shabby at all.

You can get visitors when you are closed which throws out your numbers as well.

Very cool thread, thanks for invoking some thought from all of us! I'm a
small shop but somehow sit at 1:13. I now think that's great but why is my
feedback ratio 2:1 (orders placed/feedback left)???!!! HELP!!!

That's pretty normal, actually. Only about half of buyers leave feedback.

1 in 26, over ~20 years on Bricklink. Likely 1 in 15-20 earlier on, now closer
to 1 in 35 or so.
I’m sure that lots of forum activity leads to lots of curiosity visits as well
for people with no intention of buying. For example when a new seller says “what’s
wrong with my store? Why am I not getting orders?” And I inevitably reply “your
prices are too high”, I bet many check my store to see if I’m full of it.

This is a great point haha. Since posting this my beautiful 1:60 ratio is now
at about 1:1000 haha. Views definitely have lots of purposes, not all with the
intent to purchase. I just thought it was a cool metric we have to look at!
I think someone may have been bored and just hit reload on your page 3000 times.

LOL! I was going to go look to see see why it was 60:1 but haven't yet.
(Total inventory, how are your prices, what are your terms, etc..)
I'd love to know what items initially brought people to the store. I go
through these fits and starts where something like the olive green 16x16 plate
can sit for nearly a year and then I sell out of all of them in two orders in
two days. I assume they came to the store for that specifically and then bought
all the other side items.

7.3% conversion rate or 1 in 13 (if my maths is correct......)
