According to both Brickpedia and March 1998 Lego Mania magazine,
the original Hydronaut and Stingray mini-figures did have names:
aqu030 is Navigator Hip "Muddy" Waters
aqu031 is Captain Hank Hydro
aqu011 is Crystal Miner
aqu013a is Commander Manta Ray
aqu014a is Navigator Stinger Ray
aqu012a is just an ordinary Raven Ray
Should someone re-name these Bricklink pages?
