Can we make it so that the seller can change status of an order to “Delivered”
if it has a tracking number? I get updates with usos with my orders and I know
when they are delivered, and several of my customers usually don’t even put “received.”
So it’d make it a lot easier on me and my OCD to be able to put “delivered” when
I know that it is thanks! 😂

Voted no. Sellers can already mark as complete. But both received and complete
should be for buyer only. Sellers can file them if they want them gone.

Voted no. Sellers can already mark as complete. But both received and complete
should be for buyer only. Sellers can file them if they want them gone.
See, “completed” would be fine, but from what I’ve seen, marking “complete” before
the buyer wants it done can cause a problem and even land then negative reviews.
I cannot do that. I just want to be able to let the customer know that it’s delivered
as an extra notification or whatever. I just think it would be extremely useful.

They will know (often before you do) as there will be an envelope / parcel on
their doormat / doorstep / mailbox. For your notification to get to them, they'd
have to log in to bricklink, check their orders placed, and then look at the
status.
Especially in the case of a mistake in delivery, it is useful for the buyer to
be able to rely on what they know and have logged and not what the seller has
claimed.
As for sellers that set orders to complete, I just least favourite them these
days if they do it to an order. One seller I ordered from set it to complete
before it was even delivered. I marked it as delivered once it arrived and they
again set it to complete within a day. So I've never bought from them again.

That happened with me, except for the fact he never even shipped it, and then
lied and said that it was USPS’s fault that the tracking number said “awaiting
package” 🤣🤣🤣 never ordered from him either!
