Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 42043 Name: Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245
*
42043-1 (Inv) Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245
2793 Parts, 2015
Sets: Technic

* Change {451 to 453} Part Black 2780 Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise, Staggered, with or without Center Slots

Comments from Submitter:
The information in the instructions for Lego and Bricklink does not match the parts actually installed in this set, the set contains a total of 2795 parts, as the black pin is not 451x but 453x.

After looking around a bit, I see no reason to believe the inventory is incorrect.

To support this, there is the following evidence:

(1) The official part count on the set packaging is 2793 pieces, and the BrickLink
inventory contains 2793 pieces.

(2) Multiple versions of the set instructions always list 451 for the number
of Technic pins included in the set.

(3) The LEGO replacement parts website lists 451 for the number of Technic pins
needed for the set.

I would love to go through the instruction manual step-by-step and count up the
number of Technic pins needed for the build, but that is just not feasible timewise.
The more logical conclusion is that you probably counted wrong or used pins where
they were not actually needed. It is very easy to make a building mistake or
counting mistake when dealing with quantities of a small part this large.

This request will not be accepted.

Cheers,
Randy
