Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 42009 Name: Mobile Crane Mk II
*
42009-1 (Inv) Mobile Crane Mk II
2606 Parts, 2013
Sets: Technic: Model: Construction

* Change {495 to 493} Part Black 2780 Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise, Staggered, with or without Center Slots

Comments from Submitter:
The information in the building instructions for Lego and Bricklink does not match the parts actually installed in this set, the set contains a total of 2605 parts.

This set actually looks like it requires a change.

To support this, there is the following evidence:

(1) The official part count on the set packaging is 2606 pieces, and the BrickLink
inventory currently contains 2607 pieces. That is one more than stated.

(2) The set instructions lists 495 for the number of Technic pins included in
the set. This agrees with the current BrickLink inventory.

(3) The LEGO replacement parts website lists 494 for the number of Technic pins
needed for the set. This is one less than the current BrickLink inventory.

Once again, I would love to go through the instruction manual step-by-step and
count up the number of Technic pins needed for the build, but that is just not
feasible timewise.

The logical conclusion in this situation is that LEGO made an error somewhere,
and it looks like the error was in the instructions manual.

I will accept this request and then modify the number to 494. This will make
the BrickLink inventory align with the official part count on the box and the
official LEGO replacement parts data.

Cheers,
Randy
