If I have my head on right, these change the part count from being 4 over to 1 under... The alternate build uses 2 of the medium rubber bands. I'm sure some of the 2780 are extras too, but I am leaving it alone. I can only figure out 28 of them going into the model. Perhaps the others would go with the extra tracks on Match 99. I didn't get those.

There are only 6x
used in the build, so one of those currently in the Regular Items is an extra.
I have manually adjusted that.
The official LEGO data states that 44x
came with the set, so that number seems right.
Also, for the rubber bands, five are used in the alternate model (see image).
The ones that are called out are one small and two medium. What is not known
are what the two other ones used on the front of the orange beams are.
