Sky Blue is on the left. I can't see the difference. Maybe the Medium Azure
brick is little bit darker?
Maybe BL should consider to merge this colors into one?
We can call it Sky Azure

Good point and question.
For an old fan of Lego SW, the term Sky Blue still brings this beauty
immediately to mind

The colours are barely different and it sure is difficult to tell them apart
for common parts… but they are different colours:
— BL Sky Blue = LEGO Dove Blue, code 232, production years: 2004-2007
— BL Medium Azure = LEGO Medium Azur, code 322, production years: 2012-

There’s a few colours like that that were “specialized” and more or less short-lived
and were “almost resurrected” as newer, more generic colours (e.g. Maersk Blue).
Practically, the only way to be sure is to know the origin of the parts.

There are few opposite examples for different Lego colors that was merged to
one color in BL like 112 Medium Bluish Violet and 219 Lilac- they are both called
in BL Medium Violet, or 22 Medium Reddish Violet and 221 Bright Purple- they
are both called in BL Dark Pink.
So why we don't do it with Medium Azure and Sky Blue? They are much closer
from the other colors I mentioned.
They were never 'merged' iirc. They just didn't realize back then
they were different colors. And by the time they did realise, it was too much
of a hassle to separate them. Not worth the trouble for those few parts.
Sky Blue was known long before Medium azure arrived, that's why they are
separate colors.
Same situation, different historical route.
Personally I'd keep them separated (and would like the others, the pinks,
the violets etc, to be separated asswel). Sky Blue is noticeably lighter than
Medium Azure, for me at least.

This post perfectly sums things up concerning the colors.
