There should be a way to put your inventory into BrickLink without being a seller
so that it’s easier to part out sets for wanted lists
If I’m missing something please direct me to the page

Good suggestion imo.
Besides that if you become a seller and keep your shop closed it should work
already. But, you do not want the seller-status, which is understandable if you
do not need it.

It's possible to part out a set into a Wantlist without being a seller.
You can upgrade your account to seller without opening the store.
Or keep track of your personal inventory on Rebrickable.com.

BrickStock is an application, not a site.
(This is actually a positive point as you keep your own data and have only you
to blame if you lose it.)
