Please list “Dark Red” and “New Dark Red” separate.
LEGO note them as different. They are very different and mixed up in one build
don’t look good.
Thanks
Using this argument then maybe the same could be suggested for yellow, and red
and white and pearl gold. While I agree that in an ideal world they would be
listed separately but where do you draw the line and with which colours ? Pearl
gold is a great example - there can be a number of shades - how do you determine
the boundaries and ensure consistencies ?

I wish it were that easy, but old Dark Red had a LOT of variance, and sometimes
looked like New Dark Red. And lately New Dark Red has been a bit milky some of
the time... so there's no real way to separate the two.
You could separate them into "milky dark red" and "darker dark red" perhaps,
which — apart from adding confusion — opens a can of worms when it comes to other
colors. Do we start separating all the different shades of White too?
