The older variant 73090a was discontinued in 1987. I do not see any proof for
it to be in this set from 1993. See two new copies and one used copy:

Note the circle on the side of 73090b, also the line on the lower part of 73090b
(since the bottom part is separatable)
Soon, I add comparison photos for these weight elements.

The original inventory was done by Admin with Source: Instructions and has never
been verified. The only attempt to rectify the inventory was adding the alternate,
but it should have been outright changed when it was added due to the inventory
not having a reliable source. The images you link to as well as some others that
I found clearly show the later weight variant, so this request will be accepted.
If the earlier weight variant is ever proven at a later date, it can be added
again.

Cheers,
Randy

The rubber band in the set is clearly not

Part No: x88 Name: Rubber Band Small (Square Cross Section)
*
x88 Rubber Band Small (Square Cross Section)
Parts: Rubber Band & Belt
in any of the pictures you linked to or the ones I found, so that was probably
determined wrongly from the instructions, also.

It definitely looks like

Part No: x137 Name: Rubber Band Medium (Square Cross Section) Thin Cut
*
x137 Rubber Band Medium (Square Cross Section) Thin Cut
Parts: Rubber Band & Belt
in every case I can find.

I am going to move that rubber band to the Regular Items section, also, and remove
the x88. If the x88 is ever proven at a later date, it can be added again.

Cheers,
Randy
