The "Trans-Purple" star in this photo looks very similar in color to the part
in the image you posted at https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1141237 that
you had changed to "Trans-Light Purple". Are these pieces actually two different
colors? Because they do not look like it from the photos. Could you post a comparison
photo of these two parts side-by-side?

The "Trans-Purple" star in this photo looks very similar in color to the part

you had changed to "Trans-Light Purple". Are these pieces actually two different
colors? Because they do not look like it from the photos. Could you post a comparison
photo of these two parts side-by-side?

I am posting the comparison pic that you requested and also a bag of light purple
stars. The problem is that thinner pieces look lighter anyway and thicker look
darker. I would call the ones in the poly on the right all trans-purple. The
lowest star looks lighter, but it is a thinner type of piece and definitely darker
than the ziplock of trans-light purple stars that are the same piece. WIth all
of this laid out, I believe that the 3 Clikits025b that I said were trans-light
are not. They are just really thin trans-purple. Can you fix that from where
you are? I have to go to bed right now.

I do feel strongly corrected that it is regular trans-purple plastic. It is
just very thin. It looks similar to the thicker Trans-light pieces, though.

Also note that BrickLink's Trans-Purple contains both LEGO 126 Transparent
Bright Bluish Violet and LEGO 236 Transparent Bright Reddish Lilac. Some parts
exist in both colors, and our catalog cannot correctly identify them.
That issue is still on my list of color problems in the BL catalog.
