I bought up several sets expecting all of these to be the same color. I'll
be keeping some as references and trying to cover all the sets with this piece.

The image you submitted to the catalog for Trans-Pink is *very* over-saturated
with color and much more magenta-like. In fact, it looks much more like Trans-Dark
Pink. Are you sure you submitted the right image to the right color? For reference,
see your images below where the first one shows the less magenta-like part labeled
as Trans-Pink and the second one shows the image currently under the color Trans-Pink
in the catalog. Something just does not seem right.

I am sure, yes, because I didn't have any Trans-Dark Pink until today and
I took the picture last weekend. I can try to take a better picture, but it
is difficult with these bright colors.

I took another pic and one of the new color and it wasn't any better, but
since you said saturated, I played with a slider called that and I got pics that
look on my screen very like the piece on my desk. I'm uploading them now.

Now those images look nice! Yes, images with bright colors can easily become
over-saturated, so sometimes you have to mute them by decreasing the "saturation"
of them to get a color that looks better on a screen interface. I wish mfav was
around right now. I am sure he could give you a fantastic lesson about it.
By the way, LEGO had two different pink colors for these hearts:

One was LEGO color Transparent Medium Reddish Violet, which is BrickLink Trans-Dark
Pink, and one was LEGO color Transparent Bright Purple, which is BrickLink Trans-Pink.
How's that for figuring this stuff out on your own? 
If you keep looking at that page above, you will also notice they made one in
a color called Transparent Light Green. I think I remember someone discovering
that a couple of days ago. Only problem is, BrickLink does not have a color
for that. You were right, we do need a new color.
