part count. The set, I discovered, was missing two pieces according to the parts
list and box count.
So I, your dutiful servant, trudged through an hour of studying the parts list.
I finally realized that someone had missed two lipsticks which were present.
My god, I thought, how can this be? The set, you see, had been
inventoried from sealed set contents and verified twice since by sealed sets.
Then I thought, being something of a thinker, Why don't you check the
Extra Items section? Sure enough, there were the missing parts. These parts
are shown in the parts list (1st photo attached) and included in the official
part count (2nd photo attached). They are not, however, included in the set
building instructions (3rd photo attached).
These changes will make the BrickLink's part count correct for the first
time since the inventory was created.
