I just bought this set. It wasn't sealed but used and 100% complete. The owner said that the bricks had been kept separate and that he guarantees that the set came with the 30089 version of the camera. The type 1 camera was already winding down by 2012 (only came in one set) and
that's the last known appearance. This request would push the last known
year forward to 2013 if approved.
The official set photos show a type 2 camera (attached photo) and the inventory
has been confirmed twice with sealed set contents. Therefore, I consider it
possible but unlikely that the set included a type 2 camera. I'll leave
the request open for a few days, though, to see if anyone can confirm and to
see if further evidence can be located.

I built this from a sealed set in November. The camera in mine is Type 2.

Sorry, but I could not find any evidence to support this change and it's
been over a week with no one coming forward to corroborate the change. While
I don't deny the possibility that you may be correct about the type 1 camera
being included as a regular/alternate, I don't feel like the evidence is
sufficient at this time to support adding it to the inventory.
