| Funny, I was thinking about it this morning and then received an e-mail that
the main Dutch second hand trading website Marktplaats.nl has just implemented
it: iDeal as a payment method.
This is not as much a major issue as supporting IBAN, but still it would be really
nice thing if BL would choose to add iDeal. More than 300,000,000 transactions
the Netherlands per year, most Dutch people are comfortable with it and use it
regularly. The Netherlands is a large country on Bricklink, so I think that if
it is not hugely complicated to implement, it would be a really good upgrade.
And, for the Bricklink team probably very nice: It is an onsite, instant checkout
compatible payment method.

Aliexpress also has it (and offers buyers protection), so it should be possible
for Bricklink too.

| This will most definately improve the way we buy and pay, at least for dutch
customers.
I'm not sure but I do think it also improves the way benelux customers buy
and sell. For as far as I can tell iDeal payments are also possible for directly
neighboring countries of NL.
Some websites in Germany and Belgium offer the iDeal option and a while back
I even got to pay though iDeal on a French website.
That said, I would love to have the option to pay through iDeal.
