| For sets there is a box entry but WHY NOT FOR GEAR?? the only way to sell the
boxes is by going through the set entry and then place a comment 'only the
box', but this is very confusing and not helping those who are actually selling
the gear that is complete.
And how difficult can it be??

Yes please.
You only need to look at sets (sorry, gear) like this to see why ...

The box was given it's own gear item number instead
[g=852293stor]
Also... it just boggles my mind that an item with 2,292 LEGO pieces is classified
as gear and not a set. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs a good, swift
backhand.

Well at least it says "set" in the title and it is not described as a "chess
gear"...perhaps they were hedging

I'm not entirely convinced that violence is the solution to this problem.
However, I agree that there could be improvements on the definition and classification
of gear, books, and sets.
