I requested this a while back and the status is "already exists". I think my
request was misinterpreted/misunderstood.
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1007032

Please make it so that the tracking number can be displayed on the Orders Placed
Page. As shown in this picture.

This option already existing on the order received page, however not on the orders
placed. The buyer has to click on each order to determine the tracking number
(or if the buyer put the number on the order).

This currently is not an option for orders placed (as shown in the picture).

Thank you,
Cob

I voted yes for this and could never understand why it was never included in
the first place.

Thanks for solidifying the request.

Came to this forum to suggest this. Voted "yes" here instead.

I understand that implementing actual tracking, or even links to external trackers,
is difficult given how many different carriers there are across the world. A
simple text field with the tacking code would be enough. The buyer can copy/paste
this code into their expected carrier's website or tracking system on their
own.

As I understand it, this suggestion is for the summary table. There already is
a field for a tracking number in orders. Just open an order, it’s in the header
on the lower right.
Now, if all sellers would mind filling it….

Correct, it would be nice to be able to see it in the summary table instead of
having to open the details of each order. Sellers do have this functionality
in the "orders received" summary table.

100% of my sales have tracking numbers on them! I send the tracking number
in my drive thru messages, but as a buyer I rarely get tracking numbers. If buyers
had access to this column on the summary table, perhaps sellers would be more
inclined to provide tracking numbers.

Not sure that buyers would notice it there either.

I routinely get emails/messages from buyers looking for

1. Invoice ... please send one (I dunno how they could miss both the internal
BL invoice and the auto-generated invoice ...but they do)

2. Please let me know when the order shipped so I know when to expect it. (Again,
does the BL system randomly NOT send messages and/or drive-by emails to some
Buyers? )

3. On those few occasion where the order I send out has a tracking number ...
i put it in the tracking number field on the order page as well as copied to
the drive thru email/message ...guess What? Some buyers still require it to
be sent again

And as a buyer, my sellers rarely use the tracking number field as is, I doubt
they will start using it even if it was going to show up on the buyer's summery
page.

But your millage may vary
