Are you the *original* owner of the set you have? The reason that I ask is due
to the fact that the inventory was created by the Inventory Administrator here
from a sealed set and then later verified by myself with a sealed set. Both Jennifer
and I know our colors very well and would not confuse these two colors. Also,
TLGs own replacement parts service shows the parts as being in color Transparent
Bright Orange, which is BrickLink Trans-Orange.

The three data points above rule out a straight change of the color of the part.
However, if you were the original owner of the set, then maybe an alternate color
was included in some sets. Could you post a photo of the parts in question so
that color experts here can verify the color?

Cheers,
Randy

Hi Randy.

I was just looking how to retract the colour changes when I found your message.
Sorry, you're right, it is normal Trans-Orange. I am the original owner of
the set, but I was working from Rebrickable, which has Trans-Neon Ornage, and
I thought that they had it right. On closer inspection of my own parts, Bricklink
has it right.

Nathan
