* Change {14 to 13} Part Tan 3062b Brick, Round 1 x 1 Open Stud
Comments from Submitter:
I built per the instructions on lego.com, and went through them again, I only used 13 of these to complete the build
There seems to be 2 versions of this set, look at the changes made in 2006 (1413)
and 2008(1314)
I agree that based on available instructions there are only 13, but considering
the changes (and alternates) made in 2008, there is most likely a variant set
needing some other parts.
I would leave it like that untill a real comparison is made and it might be wise
to add a note to the inventory about it.

OK, sure. Any idea how to get alternate build instructions?
We are in a major lego sort/build project at our house, and many original instructions
are gone, so I'm not always sure which revision of a set I may have.

I looked at both online instructions, 4280191 and 4281224. I looked at the scan
at peeron which seems to be 4280191(hard to read it). They all show needing
only 13.
So I went and dug out my 8781-1 box and my instructions. My instructions, 4255758,
also only needed 13.
There are some additional alternate builds shown on the back of the box. It's
impossible to tell for sure how many tan round bricks are used in total for each
one, but one of them could need an extra round brick.
I cannot be certain if I originally had 13 or 14, since the set has been used
for many different builds.
I'm not sure what the proper protocol is for this situation, so I will leave
it to someone more experienced.

Always An Adventure!
Wow, great work Thea! How do you go about getting both instruction sets? Being
as naive as I am, I simply go to lego.com and put in the set number.
Not sure if you saw the other change requests I made, but do bricklink inventories
try to include pieces used by alternate builds as well as the main build? That's
interested and good to know.

Hello,
Thanks for submitting this request. Considering the history of changes for this
set, I believe it would be best to hold off on any further changes until they
can be confirmed from a source other then the current instructions such as a
sealed set. I have added a note to the inventory.
