May I ask why we still have an oldschool forum ?

I think bricklink could grow if we had a 'normal' forum which would be
more accessable for non-blicklinkers. Now this forum is hidden away in the catacombs
of BL. Nobody, besides those who already found their way to BL, can find this.
And to be honest, it's not the easiets setup to follow a thread or to reply.

I think that, but I actually a noob to this, running a phpBB forum isn't
that difficult, doesn't cost that much.

Why do you think ? Are their any plans to switch to a other forum ? Do you
also think could benefit sales at BL ?

I actually love the treaded view we get on this forum. It might seem old fashioned,
but I do miss that on many other forums.

Voted no. I like people responding directly to others instead of one big line
of replies. In fact, I think it's necessary given the technical nature of
things often discussed here. I would love some new features, like bookmarking,
but not a new format with teensy little avatars and a whole thread on one page.
