Yes, there are 3 of these counterparts - one on each side of the police car and
another above the security booth.
Regarding the form, it is set up so that the default is always Regular, instead
of what the Inv section Type the item line is already assigned to. So if someone
goes in to change a single data field on a line with Extra, Alternate, or Counterpart
Type, if they don't manually reset the Type, it will revert to Regular for
the change.
This wouldn't be so tricky, except that on all other fields, if an unnecessary
piece of data is entered (i.e. identical data to that currently existing in the
field) the form throws up an error notice. The form is counterintuitive and inconsistent
in this respect, and it's something IMO that should be changed.
Good thing there is a verification page. We're trying to get one on the Admin
side, btw. Should cut down on a lot of errors and a lot of unnecessary use of
the public form.
