OK, so I've opened all the bags, sorted all the parts into little piles and
verified the counts, and now I just need to physically merge them into my existing
inventory. I typically do this by scrolling through the part out screen once
more and checking off each part in order as I add it to my inventory storage.
It would be rally handy at this point if I knew how many (if any) of that part
I already had, so that I would now if should retrieve an existing lot to add
the new lot to, or can just dump the new lot into a new baggie and add it to
the drawer. It'd also allow me to do a quick validation of existing lots
to make sure I actually have the qtys that BL thinks I do.
Essentially I'm asking for one additional field on the Part Out Review screen
that shows, for each lot being added, my current quantity in stock.

If you go to your inventory, on the right hand side of the screen, you will see
the option to show all the parts from a set. If you enter the set number that
you just parted out, it will bring up all the lots that are from that set. You
can then sort the list how you want to input your stock, and just a quick glance
at the date the lot was added will tell you if it is a new lot or not.
That is how I do it, and it works pretty well for me. If you do not see it on
the right hand side, it should show if you select "show more options"

Thanks, Katie - that's an excellent suggestion. I'll give it a try!

Here is another method, which I've found useful. When I do a part-out, I
use the option to "Upload all items as Stockroom C Items." Then down below,
in the consolidate lots settings, choose "Old Stockroom Option." The result
is that any items that I already have stay where they were, and all the new lots
are in Stockroom C.
