On the order download page here:

http://www.bricklink.com/orderExcel.asp

sellers are able to download a file in various formats containing all their orders
received or placed during a specified period of time. This is good for tax
and accounting purposes. But I would like to see it improved.

None of the file download formats contain rows for the BrickLink fee paid for
each order or the cost of inventory sold in that order. For tax and accounting
purposes, I would like to be able to include these figures for each order. BrickLink
already calculates the fee for each order and allows sellers to see the inventory
cost for each order. So why not put these amounts on these downloads as well?

More precisely, what I want to do is have extra rows in these downloads showing
my income and expenses for each order, with a net total at the end. Thus, in
addition to rows for order amount, shipping(1), insurance, additional charges,
credits, grand total, etc., I would also like to see rows for the BrickLink fee
paid for each order, the inventory cost for each order, a blank row for me to
fill in the PayPal fee paid for each order(2), and a row to show the net order
total at the end. As much as possible, I want the BL system to automatically
enter the amounts and make all the calculations by column and row.

(1) For shipping, I would like to have two rows. One for the shipping charged.
And a second row for the actual postage paid. This second shipping row will NOT
be added or used to calculate the net order total.

(2) For PayPal fees, sellers can manually enter that themselves. Or, even better,
on the Orders Received page here:

http://www.bricklink.com/orderReceived.asp

add a box for sellers to write in the PayPal fees they paid on each order. This
number can then be carried over by the system into the order downloads.

I also think there is too much other unnecessary information on these order downloads
(such as order comments, which I don't usually need for tax and accounting
records). Thus, ideally, I would like to have the ability to customize these
order downloads to add and delete rows of my own choosing.

Yes. Yes to all the sub-suggestions as well.

Also: Please reformat the file to be an Excel table, without all the extra blank
rows. Makes it much easier to do data analysis and pivot tables.

For this to work properly, they would have to make sure that orders do not get
purged until at least over a year. (Which there should be no reason why this
cannot be done -- it shouldn't take a modern sever any extra work.)
