I've stopped printing orders and now pick from the screen.

Any chance of having a tick box next to each item on the order screen to say
you've picked it. This does not need to be a field and could clear when you close
the order screen.

Much better for the environment.

In its raw form it already exists, at the bottom of your order detail there's
a line that says `show temporary checkboxes`

However, it doesnt save so its absolutely useless if your computer has sudden
problems or you leave the screen for some other reason and even less useful if
you have a massive amounht of lots that requires a sleep break halfway through.

I would add to your suggestion that the existing solution become more dynamic,
turning the background of a lot (or just the box area) green when you tick the
lot to make it easier to spot items you havent picked yet plus it really needs
to save so that it has some use.

Check the option for 'Show Temporary Checkboxes' that should do the trick I think

Was just going to suggest the same Paul, I have that ticked and my orders always
come up with the temporary checkbox every time,

Thanks for stopping the printing, you have a computer screen, the person that
ordered from you has a computer, this has always been my logic to not print

I have sucessfully used my DroidX for the last year to pull orders. The screen
is large enough and the browers available are much better than my previous BlackBerry.
Lots to love about the BB but web browser is not one of them.

I would think you would just change the status from 'processing' to 'ready',
or from 'paid' to 'packed' if you pick after payment instead of before.
