Please change the redirect after sending an invoice to a buyer:

After sending an invoice to a buyer, the system should return the user to the
"Orders Received" page, which is where they were before sending the invoice.
Currently, the user is redirected to a screen with one field so you can type
in an invoice number and see any invoice. I don't remember invoice numbers.
It would be much better to redirect to the "Orders Received" screen where I
can see all orders and use the user friendly controls on that screen to access
orders.

A simple change which makes a common sense improvement to Bricklink.

OH and for when you send someone a message ... it always does the same thing,
returns you to a screen where you would type in a members name to message them
... kinda dumb.

We need the same thing after sending a 'Thank you, drive thru' notice. It also
leaves you an a page where you can enter another order number, and you have to
click again to get back to the 'Orders Received' page.

We need the same thing after sending a 'Thank you, drive thru' notice. It also
leaves you an a page where you can enter another order number, and you have to
click again to get back to the 'Orders Received' page.

Lots of functions do this, take you to the screen for doing another of the same
function rather than back where you executed the function from.

I am guessing it has been this way for years now.

It is a good suggestion, I am just wondering why it was not suggested years ago.

For the person who wrote the system, the modification would have been much easier
than for someone who is not as familiar with the code.
Of course at some point, the person now maintaining the code might gain the
level of familiarity needed to do this type of change, quickly, with low risk,
but I am guessing he is not there yet. (I might be wrong).

The behavior confused me a lot, when I first started using the system, but I
got used to it, and now do not mind it so much.

Great idea. Of course a yes.
When I first looked at the title of this post the c and the l sort of merged
and felt like I had to open this. I didn't know if it referred to a thousand
detectives, a thousand nasty people or a thousand .......
