I'm not sure how most people use the remarks field in their inventory, but i
would like to think they use it the same way i do. I use it to store the location
of each part listed for sale in my store. Recently i noticed something, if a
customer places an order for a part, Example say i have 50 of said part and they
order 25 of them, if i go into my inventory and change the remarks field for
this part (remaining 25) the new remarks will not show up on the orders detail
page. So when i go to look for said part to pack customers order it says to look
were they use to be.
So what i'd like to see put in place is a warning box to pop up when changing
the remarks field in a item in your inventory saying something like the item
you are about to update currently is in X# orders in your store do you still
want to update.
this could only be for orders that have not been placed in Packed, shipped or
completed status.
Hope i made this clear, any Q's or comments welcome.

Thanx, All AKA (Mike)
I voted yes to this as long as it wouldn't take too much programming effort for
admin. I usually don't have enough open orders for this to matter. I also do
not typically change inventory location during the process of pulling orders,
so in the end this would not really affect me, but I could see it being helpful
for others.
Also, I would vote against the remarks field in an order detail page being automatically
updated when remarks are updated.
