| | I am 46 years old. I have had Lego's since I was about 7. Space and underwater is my favorite( especially Star Wars), but have recently been constructing a city with hotels, apartments, etc. I build mostly with my son. I had the dark era from around 15 til I was 30. That's when I had my son and thought how much fun it was building Lego's when I was a kid, and so off to my parents house to search for all the Lego's I had as a kid. Then I found a site (you know the one, _-bay)and found all these cool Lego's that they didn't have when I was a kid. I bid and bought thousands of dollars worth. They had to be new and boxed, and most of them were from Europe( because thats the only place I could find new ones). My sons 10 and I have a daughter who is 8. My son has been brainwashed and is now probably more addicted than me. He always want custom things and Star Wars is his favorite. I found brick Link around 4 years ago and am amazed, how can anyone build anything without it, I lOVE IT. Everyone, including my wife, thinks I am crazy, excepy my son and 6 year old nephew(we have brainwashed him also). One day I may open a store as I have so may Lego's that I will have to sell them or buy a bigger house to continue my obsession. | | This page has been viewed 357 times. |
