| I'm an AFOL who only rediscovered my passion for the Brick by playing LEGO Dimensions. Building those pieces woke something in me that had been dormant for a quarter of a century. I'm hooked all over again and the art of collecting and building LEGO for me is now as much a stress reliever and coping mechanism for life as a Special Needs father as it is a fantastically fun diversion.
It is also a great thing to have between my oldest son and I, as it gives us a bridge of common ground on which we can meet where the other cares in the household seem not to matter so much. And that's a good thing. |
