I first used BrickLink to try and fill in the gaps of my collection from my numerous "Dark Ages", finding great sets along the way that I didn't even think I wanted. Shortly after joining this site, I became a member of NILTC, and now I scour BrickLink for parts more than for sets. I mean, sure, I'll still get a set here or there, but finding parts is where BrickLink truly shines.
