| Hello,
Welcome to my Lego store! I love Lego and now my kids enjoy it too. I never used BL very much, I was always more of a retail store shopper, buying new sets since 1997. In 2022 I have decided to start selling part of my huge collection and starting a store here. It will consist of sets from my childhood and beyond, 1978-present. I also used to work for Lego, so I will have for sale several employee and manager exclusives, as well as other store goodies like retired displays, signs and other rare LBR store items (yes, all were obtained legally).
A couple of things to note: I see there is a very old negative comment on here from many years ago from a disgruntled seller. As I recall, I requested the seller to cancel an order that hadnt shipped yet. Right after I placed it, we had a family emergency and needed the money. He insisted "no cancellations" were his policy, but finally he relented and refunded. But for some reason he felt a need to leave me a negative over this, another reason I was hesitant to make any more BL purchases for many years.
And now there is a second more recent negative comment from a potential buyer from my store as well. Since Bricklink won't allow feedback explanations, I will do it here. I was working out a deal with a local buyer to sell an item in a bulk lot of other sets, but the item was also singly listed in my BL inventory. As soon as we worked out a deal, I went online to remove that item from my inventory. By a complete fluke a BL buyer had barely placed an order for the same item! It wasn't paid for yet, he needed an invoice first. So I wrote him an explanation and cancelled it immediately. No money ever was exchanged. To be honest, I also noticed he had 2 different addresses listed (PayPal and Bricklink), in different states, and with different names, so even if I did have the item available, I would have cancelled his order anyway because it looked suspicious. But hey despite the fact no money was paid, he somehow still left me a negative feedback out of spite I guess?
Anyways, just write me if you have any hesitation due to my less than perfect feedback, and I can provide you with several non Bricklink references who will vouch for me. I love Lego and would never do a bad deal with a fellow collector. I'm looking forward to putting some of my vintage sets in new homes that will appreciate them as much as I have. I have 2 Full climate controlled storage units of sealed brand new and retired sets from 1978 through 2024 that I need to clear out! Stay tuned for inventory updates! I am dealing with some health issues but when I am better I will get back to selling. ~Thundarr |
