Had a bunch of LEGO growing up from Town to Technic, all was in storage until a couple of years ago when I gave most of it to my kids who now have it everywhere around the house. Now I've started again as an AFOL with my wife & suddenly the loungeroom has become a mass of containers of bricks & a display of small & large projects. :)
