About Me Pages: About KrisBrix (56)
Hi, I'm mainly into 12V and Town (era '80) but as well as GBC and MOC's. Lego is a hobby, not some lucrative business. If profits are made, they are tiny and are used to make my hobby affordable. I offer used parts and new parts. Parts with scratches or damage end up in my bin, not in my shop. Parts are properly packaged in bags before sending it to you. The sets offered on my Bricklink are : - either sets of my own collection - either sets I bought or acquired. Those sets are refurbished (see further) The process of refurbising : - cleaning all items of the set with non-intrusive soap - replace all damaged or discoloured parts of the set with good parts (also used parts but in good condition). Rebrighting is only done when I have the time, because it is closely monitored and time-intensive. - add missing parts - replacing stickers if stickers are faded or loose - replace minifigs in case prints are worn out - fix boxes and instruction manuals - remove bad tape carefully + refurbish with descent tapes + replace plastic sheets if required - double check the inventory of the set and ensure the set is the full 100% complete - if possible obtain missing instruction manuals and/or boxes. I enjoy refurbishing the sets as it allows me to bring back to life a set after many decades in the best possible condition.
